Good evening to all BK Brothers and Sisters
We had a good meeting at the Station House in Cumming this past Saturday with 13 members and guest in attendance. One brave soul said “to heck” with the cold, nasty rainy weather” and rode his Iron Horse to the meeting. Hats off to you Bob!!!
after greeting each other, Randy blessed our meal.
After woffing down a good hot breakfast we opened the meeting with the discussion of the upcoming Ronald McDonald cookout May 28th. Barbara H volunteered to drive her van to carry the food and other items down. David B was our grill master for the last RMH cookout and did such a great job we all asked him to man handle the grill again this year. He kindly accepted the challenge. We will be working on the details as we get closer to May.
Our VP Matt H has some idea’s on the raffle/drawing we will be putting together in mid spring and will be bringing them to the table at our next meeting. It was voted to present the check from the raffle to the RMH in May at the Cookout.
David B will be updating us on a potential ride to Dixie Speedway in March. I passed on the latest update on the federal theft case involving the State if Maine V. Bessie Small Blue Knights International Secretary/Treasurer and the details of the plea deal.
We closed out the meeting with the 50/50 drawing in which this month’s lucky winner was!!!!! Terri O. Congratulations Terri in your “second” win since we’ve started the 50/50 back.
Congratulations also goes out to Terri O. as she closes out one chapter of her life and begins a new chapter as a “RETIRED’ COP! Wish you all the luck in the world Girl!
One final note, it was good to see Debbie back with her Blue Knights Family! Until next time!
Ride with Pride and as always “Be Safe Out There”
